IRAs (Traditional, Roth or Education) are a great way to save for the future - offering you tax savings today and a secure retirement in the future. An IRA is a special savings plan authorized by the Federal government to help you accumulate funds for your retirement. Every individual who has earned income may contribute to an IRA. Money One offers IRA Certificates and tiered savings plans.

The Tiered Savings IRA may be opened with a minimum opening deposit of $25.00. Rates are tiered based on the following balance levels (see current rate schedule):
Tier 1 $1 - $2,499.99
Tier 2 $2,500 - $19,999.99
Tier 3 $20,000 or more

The dividend rate and annual percentage yield for each tier paid on the date you open this Account are displayed on a separate Rate and Fee schedule provided to you. Dividends will be credited monthly.

The total contribution cannot exceed the amount specified by law. We suggest you check with your tax advisor or attorney to determine how much you may contribute and whether or not your contributions are tax deductible. Credit Union staff are prohibited by law from giving such advice.

• IRA Accounts are non-negotiable and cannot be used as collateral on a loan.
• If you intend to withdraw funds from your IRA Account, you must give the Credit Union at least 48 hours written notice.
• A statement of your Account will be mailed to you quarterly.
• IRA Accounts are separately insured up to $100,000.00 by NCUA, an agency of the Federal government.
