Free Community Shred Day and Community Food Drive!
Money One Federal Credit Union is having a Shred Day to help the community prevent identity theft. This is a free event. Everyone is invited to bring personal financial documents and watch them shred to protect their identity. Documents are shredded using a secure high powered, commercial shredding truck. The date is set for Saturday, October 2nd — from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, 9450 Cherry Hill Road, College Park, MD.
You can also help spread good will by bringing a non-perishable food with you to support Money One’s Annual Charity, "Cram the Cart" Thanksgiving Food Drive. Carts provided by Safeway will be on-site for your donations. Knights of Columbus will distribute all donations to area needy families.
Enjoy food, music, giveaways and door prizes. Credit union staff will be available to help you with opening an account, loans, credit cards and all of your banking needs.
